Isn't the school library open from when the school opens until the school closes? [e.g. ~7am - ~7pm]

Might allow more people to read.
Give people somewhere/something to go/do.
Chance to relax.
Large selection of books.
Books the school has deemed beneficial to their pupil's education.
'Against':
People could borrow a book from it and take it home; why spend extra money to keep the library open.
