I was wondering if anyone here knows wheter Google has plans to release a standalone application for using Gmail. Microsoft is currently beta-testing a version of their Windows Live Mail Desktop application and I have actually been looking for a application that can do this properly for Gmail. Using Outlook or Thunderbird didn't really work for me since not all the Gmail functions are included there (ofcourse). Let me know if you have some more info on this subject!
