* Content is king, so write content people are interested in and update it on a regular basis. Instead of just posting a link to the freebies, write a review about the product.
* Exchange links with sites that have a similar topic.
* Submit your site to directories. You can find lots of free directories

* Put a link to your site in the signature of the forums your participate in.
* Use the link as signature in your emails.
* Post comments in blogs that are similar and link to your site (don't spam though!!).
