hi friends,
i just wanted to know the use of umpires in cricket,present day cricket.
i feel that umpires are not needed becauseumpires can turn the tide around in a match.
when the umpire gives a decision,it may be wrong and that wrong decision can turn the whole story.
the match becomes totally unfair.
supposing during the world cup finals or during any trophy matches,if an umpire declares a person out when he is not out,then it makes a big difference,it changes the result of the match.
the umpires have been making mistakes constantly and that affects the whole game and its popularity.
why arent the board members looking into the problem,especially when there is the third umpire which is computerised and gives the right decision.
when the right decision is not given,how can players the game in the right spirit,they lose their chance to prove themselves.
