Will these links improve PR?

P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"If there are some backlinks from one site (one domain name) but from different pages of this site, can these backlinks improve Google PR as same as backlinks from different sites?

I imagine that it would depend on the page rank of the page where the backlink came from. If the page rank of the page were 5 or higher, it couldincrease your page rank for that page on your site, but if the page rank were 3 or lower, it really wouldn't make a difference.

I think Google likes any link to your site, but it's probably more effective having more links from more sites, rather than just one site, although having the links on all the pages of a website could increase your traffic.
Obviously the higher the page rank, the better. Google no longer seems to display links with less than a PageRank of 3, but I think it still counts them towards your website.
