The best thing for that would be a robots.txt file.
The robots.txt file must be placed in your root directory (i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/robots.txt), and then you have to include the correct code. For example, Code:
User-agent: * Disallow: /cgi-bin/ Disallow: /tmp/ Disallow: /~joe/ Here is a helpful resource for robots.txt files. |
