Two Different PageRank for the Same site.

Hello Is this possible that a same site contains 2 different page ranks.brIt is going on with my website. When I type http://sitename.com it shows PR as 3 & when I type http://www.sitename.com it shows PR as 4. brWhy does this happen. What is the reason behind this.br

Yes, that can happen. I can't remember the reason why, but it has been discussed here on this board before. The same thing has happened to me, except with amore drastic difference. My www site is PR 0, while my http:// site is PR 4. There is a solution/workaround for this, but I can't remember what it is. Perhaps someone more experienced with this will come in and give us the answer.

Google counts www.website.com as different from website.com - I suppose this is because www is a subdomain of website.com.

Actually, [b]songchai/[b], your situation is quite common. Many websites' home page PRis different than the PR ofother pages within it. For example, my site's home page is PR 4, while some of the internal pages are PR 4, PR3, PR 1, and PR 0. Odlly enough, the most visited page on my site is PR 0, while another page that has fewer visits has a PR of 3. It may have something to do with who is linking to that page.
