illegal re-direct has caused our site to be de-listed

The problem is that a domain in the UK has created an unauthorized
re-direct to our site and this has caused Google to de-list our web
site. br
We have tried everything to contact the people who own and operate this domain using information in the whois, but to no avail.br
What can we do to either stop them or to get Google to understand that it is not us doing this and re-list our web site?br
This has caused us tremendous losses. br
Anyone have ideas? br

mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
Obviously, the best possible outcome would be to get them to stop doing that.
But it that's an issue that's either legal, to force them by law,
or technical, to block the redirect.

As far as Google goes, You could try to bring this to their attention using the form here.

Choose "report a problem", then "Inappropriate or irrelevant search results".
Then, a brief and concise summation of your problem.

It's about the most relevant reporting avenue I could find.
Good luck.

Thanks Mondine for the suggestion, I have gone to th e link you offered and made my plea, so I will just have to wait.
You did mention a possible technical solution to block the re-direct but I have no idea how to do that. Do you have any ideas on it...or anyone have an idea how to block a re-direct???
Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not much up on such matters, myself.
Maybe you could try asking down in the Webdesign and Coding forum.
(If nobody answers this here.)

I am happy to report that after emailing abuse at yahoo web hosting, the site was taken down that was re-directing to mine!!!
Now I need to get google to re-list my site and remove the penalty.
Anybody have any ideas on how to speed that process up or how I even get started?
Thanks again for help on this!!
