You could try the Automatic URL removal tool

If you add the deleted folder to your robots.txt file
therefore disallowing the googlebot from searching that folder, then submit your robots.txt to google then the folder should be removed from the index.

Makes sure you dont remove your entire site tho

After doing what badwolf67 told, just wait for a week or so, depending on your pagerank.
