How to get a good rank

i just added my http://www.gbrowserforums.info to Google. How do i get a good rank? I want it to be within the first few pages. Thanks.

two problems are immediately apparent:

1) framed redirect. your URL is actually http://phpbb.completeforum.com/gbrowser - the .info name just redirects in a frame. some crawlers won't follow those types of redirects, and they almost never rank well in SERPs.

2) "Complete Forum" hosting and special characters in all the URLs. Every page is dynamically generated, so most spiders won't "deep crawl"

Look for a host with DN Hosting...

Domain Name Hosting...

Check all your sites for XHTML and CSS validation and try to put some links in other forum sites...

CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT

check out some of the top ranked sites on alexa.com and you will see why they are ranked so well.

Content is the most important thing. Even if you've got some external links, a website without content will NOT have a high rank.

Content, number of links, and number of pages.

Activity help raise the importance of the page. The ammount of people going to your page from google also raises the rank I believe. The number of pages (tricking google thinking that you have content) also can raise your rank.
