Google de indexing .com pages in UK results

Hi eveyone,

Has anyone experienced issues with google.co.uk results not showing results for .com pages?

For some reason, my sites index page is not showing up on Google, although other pages are, the index still has a cache and visible pr.

I've been on a few other forums and others are experiencing this.

If anyone can shed some light, I'd appreciate it.

That's because the Google.co.uk site is supposed to primarily return UK relevant results.
Sites with specific UK domain extensions are more likely to be relevant to the UK search...

That wasn't the case 2 weeks ago.

It would appear the .coms I'm referring to have previously enjoyed Google results from the UK, but this has happened recently and is only affecting some sites.

As far as Google is concerned preferring .co.uk pages would mean that .com results would only be lowered in the results, not removed all together.

This said, it doesn't explain why inner pages are still displayed.

For example, if you go to Google.co.uk and type in radiator showroom my sitemap is diaplayed (about 5 or 6) but not the main domain name.

Any thoughts?

That is what I see in google.co.uk

Your site may of disappeared if it's not being hosted in the UK. For example 1&1 servers are located in Germany.
