index.htm vs index.php

span style="color: rgb(255, 127, 0); font-family: arial narrow;"Hope
someone can direct me in the right direction. I have a website
that has both an index.htm and index.php -- when you go to my
site (www.nasr-inc.com) you land on the correct home page
(index.htm). However, google has indexed my site and is using
index.php instead of index.htm........ Not quite sure how to
correct this. I do have a robots.txt file for all my disallows --
should I add the index.php to this list? I searched NASR-INC
National Association Senior Resources to find how it is being indexed.br

I wish I could but, it's a business directory script I purchased. Most people using this script use the developer's index.php as their front page -- I want to use my own front page. If you just type in www.nasr-inc.com you will go to the front page I want (index.htm) just that google is indexing the index.php.

Am wondering if adding the index.php to my disallow list in robots.txt will do the trick without messing up anything else>

Rename the index.php to the some thing else and place a link of the web directory file on the homepage.
