It will take quite long enough, about 2-4 weeks. What the most important thing for a website is : content. Keep it constantly update while you waiting.

Have a lot of patience as the interval apparently varies, depending on the subject area. As well, if they reject your site, (which happens a lot) they won't inform you.

I think there's an echo on this thread. brbrA listing could take hours to well over 2 years; there are too many variants involoved to pin-point a specific time-frame.br

Thanks - is there any way of knowing if DMOZ rejects your submission - and what the reasons might be?

about Dmoz

wath if the editor in my category is someone of my competition (other company doing the same)?? brbrI believe that something rare happens with my subscription to dmoz because months ago I introduced my site and it has been published never. I have published other sites in other categories and after 2 weeks they arein the directory without problems.brbrbr

Rejection of a site mainly in DMOZ could be due to the wrong category for submission. If the category is not an exact one, it would be definitely rejected.

brYes this might be the reason or so but still it shouldn't take so much time for a site to be indexed.... it may go till a year or sobr
