Confidential docs cashed. How long does cashe last?
Greetings
One of our users accidentally uploaded some confidential documents (.doc)to our web server. Before this was discovered Google had cashed the docs. Of course the link to the docs now goes 404 but the cashe (view as html) remains. I've recreated the documents with XXXX's throughout, instead of text and placed it back on the web server. Any idea how long it will take for google to come back and read the document again? Also - will this work - will Google write over the original? TIA B. |
