google.com vs google.pl, google.nl, google.co.uk, google.se

brbrHi Everyone,brI have noticed 1 thing my position i evry google is different.brOK, in naional versions of many countries my position is about the same, however in google.com is much lower... Don't googles use the same database? Why is that?brGreetings

I believe if you search from say google.it, Google would give preference to Italian pages, where as on google.com it would give preference to English pages.

Correct, the national pages just give preference to pages from that particular country and/or pages in the same language (i.e. dutch language sites from .nl)

I believe sheepcentral and niguy are right, I allso believe google is load balancing aswell. Rather then replicating the same database to all there servers different regions focus on there regions so the AU server will contain alot of info on 1 site when the RU will contain minimal.

It all so speeds up searches.
