A site with no content

Hi,

I'm developing an accomodation index that in which I'm asking individuals to register their details in a database.

Once I have enough content, I will then make my site live.

I'm concerned that if the individuals link to my URL before it's live, google might crawl my site and realise that there is no content. Will this be the case and will I be black listed?

Thanks,
Mike

Have you got any content at the domain? E.g. Is there a registration form there?

I don't think your site will be blacklisted but I would suggest you to make the site go live only after you are done with the complete development of the site and after you add the content on the site, it would be better in terms of site's SEO.

I agree, it wont get you blacklisted! Why not put a lttle bit of content on it whilst you are waiting for the site to be completed,.

Instead of just keeping it blank add some contents, like introduction about your site or any kind of information. If your site is getting indexed then your contents will result in good ranking. As SEO is a time consuming process. Utilise this time for Offpage optimization of your site.
