Cache Problem
I have picked up a problem on the indexing of our site. It was previous
developed by someone else on a .net framework. The site was submitted to Google index. Since then we have scrapped the old site and redeveloped it. I still find old link on the search index pointing to pages on the old site. I even find under the image search. Is it possible to clear all FlyTalk.co.za related pages from the search index and re submit the site for index. I have gone through great lengths to optimize the title, description, keywords and also body text and still getting a poor ranking on the most common word used which has a very high density on the site namely, fly fishing. I have looked at other sites raking well under this keyword and my site has been far better optimized than their site. Sites not even fly fishing related ranks higher than me and they have absolutly no keywords etc.Really puzzling I hope someone can advise. |
