Auto complete

Hello! I'm new to the forum and a big GOOGLE fan.

I have just bought a new computer and unlike my old one when I type words into the search box in GOOGLE it does not complete words that were previously entered. Please advise.

I have GOOGLE as my homepage and I mean the GOOGLE search Box that appears in the middle of the screen below the large GOOGLE logo. Not the one on the GOOGLE toolbar which I never use.

You mean the list that appears below the search box? That's to do with your browsers saved forms. You lost the saved forms with your previous computer.

As you continue to use your new computer, the list of words that autocomplete will increase.

Make sure you turned on auto complete. If you use IE go to Menu-> Tools-> Internet Options... and choose advanced tab and check if Use Inline AutoComplete checkbox is checked.
