I need to search for text INCLUDING special charaters. For example, I want to find ".Publish(" (without the quotes.) The bloody search engine is stripping off the "." and "(".
![]() I can search for this using the Google code search - but that doesn't search MY drive - it searches the web! ![]() How do I make this thing search for what I want and make it more than mildly useful? Thanks for your help. |

As long as I understand you use google desktop search to find somthing on your hard-drive. Right? If so, try to use windows search. You can't make google use special chars in searches.
