URL Cloaking and getting a search result on google

Hi

I've just created my first website for a band I am in. I do this using my personal webspace on my ISP, and use URL redirection to link to a domain name I have registered. The domain name stays in the address bar of the browser - apparrently this is known as 'cloaking', and Google does not like it.

Anyway I registered the domain name with google several weeks ago (also did with Yahoo). I still get no hits when I do a google search for my web site, even when I use a number of keywords that are fairly specific to my site (including the domain name itself).

My question is, will my site be TOTALLY ignored by google because it is cloaked, or will eventually the web spiders (or whatever they are) register my website on google? I'm not after a fantastic rating on google - I'd just like someone who knows the band name to be able to type that into google and get at least one hit to our website.

Is it just a matter of waiting or will the website continue to be ignored?

BTW: The domain name is of the format www.bandname.com.au so I am surprised that google does not record a hit when 'bandname' (or for that matter the full domain name) is searched for.

Try to register your URL to other search engines. Register your URL to web directory. Google will start search for your website soon.

The word 'web directory' is not refer to webdirectory.com but web directory in my meaning is website that has content like business directory. There are 2 types of services, paid service and free service.
