Increase In PR but no effect on ranking

Hi
For last two months I am facing some problem regarding ranking and supplemental results.

The domain of the sites are “add it now” (.co.uk)
“3 contract mobile phones” (.co.uk)
* remove the spaces

The first site used to rank very good on google but now it is now where in google. The latest PR update has given 3 – 4 PR for most of the static pages but there no change in ranking.

The second site is ranking for general words such as “ mobiles, phones, mobile phones” but it is not ranking for handset specific keywords.
These two sites are part of white label business.

Can anyone put some light on the above mentioned problem.

First PR has nothing to do on SERPs.

THink that your targeted keywords are high competitive.. " mobiles, phones, mobile phones”

try to get quality inbound links also using your keywords as your anchor will help.

create a title that all possible keywords are in there.. then use it for submissions and use it as an anchor text..

link exchange with related site.. it can help you back your positionings to your targeted keywords...

backlinks play very effective role in getting higher PR.

so start submitting your site to serach engines and web directories, as well post your stuffs in other forums, having your site address as your signature. This will help. It helped me.

i think about quality of website that you submit .
1. submit url to any site that content like you / same category.
2. Choose High pr website directory to submit url.

may be help improve.
