One site, Different Pagerank? Solve it.

When I checked my site's pagerank, I was cofused to find that my site has two different pagerank.
asiaing.com PR=2
www.asiaing.com PR=3
It's strange.
In my opion, "www.mysite.com" and "mysite.com" is the same site. It's common sense.
But the PRs are different. Why?

"It's Google, No problem." I think.

But if (only if.):
This mean, in Google's opinion, they are 2 different sites.
Is it the fact? (I trust in Google, it isn't.)

How to solve it?

My way is very simple:

Login in to your Google webmaster tools.
There is an option called "Preferred Domain" , and you can tell Google what your standard domain should be.

Check your site's Pagerank now, with or without "www":
yoursite.com
www.yoursite.com

Are the PRs same?
If not, do something for your site.

Its normal. www and without www are 2 different pages. But it doesnt really matter much if one has low PR than the other. The higher is always counted. And dont worry, it would catch up on a later time on its own.

Yeah, site's with www and those without are considered different websites. Always use www in your website.
