invalid certificate
Keep getting the following message;
You have received an invalid certificate. Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number. Only started a few days ago but cannot find the solution anywhere. Can someone please help me out? Thanks in advance |

If I try logging into gmail via Google search engine or via the tool bar that's the message I receive. I can't log on to my Google account either, also the options on my Google tool bar.
Tried logging into email account using IE, no problem. |

I'm having the exact same problem, but only when trying it from the connection at work.
When I delete the saved certificates and restart FF, it bitches about not trusting "Thawte SGC CA" (IE and Opera show the same warning, but at least they ignore it when I tell them to). If you still accept the certificate it works again for a few hours, then suddenly that message pops up again. Installing the root certificate of "Thawte SGC CA" doesn't help either, after that no SSL access to google is possible. Blocking internet access to *.googleadservices.com and *.google-analytics.com has helped a bit, but the problem is still persistent. Would really appreciate if anyone had further tips |

It only starts when accessing several Google Services (in my case GMail, Google Docs, Google Reader, Google Calendar) simultaneously. I don't know if the error itself only comes from one page, as it usually pops up when just leaving those sites open on the background.

Interesting... After deleting the file "cert8.db" from FireFox' Profile everything started working properly again, it doesn't even bug me about the unknown CA. Let's see how long this fix lasts... If you don't hear back from me this is either a final solution, or I gave suicide a try
