Can anyone explain why the page rank for my site is dropping. My site is wwwdotbeautybaydotcom. The homepage originally had a page rank of 5 and dropped to 4 and the internal links have dropped from 4 to 3.

Google constantly updating it's GoogleBot (web crawler) algorithms, and it becomes smarter and smarter every day. It may think that your web site is not so cool anymore as it was before. Or maybe you've lost some Back Links after recent PR update. Don't worry, you're not alone lost PR. I know 6 web sites that lost 1PR point, so what?

monitor your backlinks daily... maybe you lose those backlinks that were pointing to your site when you were still in PR4.. also do update your contents and site regularly... SE loves fresh contents..

i agree with alex-party.. and i believe that those who don't update their site lose or drop page rank... so i guess regular update is important...

Just get more quality links to assure that your site won't decrease its PR.
