Pay to get Site Higher Up On The Google Search??

Okay... I have made a new site, and well, there are a lot of them out there with the same topic as mine. And they appear WAY WAY WAY farther up on the list when I search for my keywords I put in my meta tags. In fact, I wasn't even on that search.

So, I would like to know if there is a way to make it so that I appear on the first page by paying Google. I'm pretty sure the people who have the same topic of website as me are only paying maybe $1 a month (if it is monthly) or the minimum. So, I want to pay more so that I can get higher up (telling you what you already [most likely] know (lol)).

Okay, after that short novel, does anyone know how I can pay to get my website on lower number of pages by paying google?

Hmmm, It's first time in my life I hear that someone's paying Google to get to the top!
Where did you hear that?
Your site is new, so wait a little and it's going to appear in google search by keywords.

I just remember hearing about it before... So, is there any EFFECTIVE way to get people to come to my site?

EDIT: Also, will Google use my meta tags to find the site???

Yes, of course Google will crawl your page, don't worry, just wait a little, it takes a week up to month. Also try serching "site:www.yoursite.com" - it should give you some results or empty if it's not added yet.

just register to google adwords if you want to get it on the first page... its a pay per click transaction.. if you want to know more of it,, check this link... http://adwords.google.com/

or else,, get an SEO specialist to optimize your site...

I have heard this before, I admit. But probably this is the most casual enquiry about this topic. Just pay a few $ above the 1$ that competitors are paying!

Dude, you are totally new to the internet world! I can't understand what gace you the courage to make a website!

Seriously, the only way to pay and get a better placement is through google adwords and that will put you on top of the advertisements(not search results) if you pay a little more than 1$ per click(not few $per month). Before asking more silly questions, I recommend you to read and learn about SEO and how search engines work. Getting traffic is not anywhere nearly as easy as you expect.

One more thing - meta keywords have zero value. Stop wasting your time with it and start learing SEO basics. Good luck!

Alemcherry, can you recomend a good SEO company to another total rookie. I have a web page too and am having trouble with search results. My old website is still getting great results for someone else now. He is only trying to sell it though and doesnt care about anything but how much its worth.
