Can any ine win against Google

Google is such a powerfull company with no competitors close to being the first place, do you think there is a change that one company will ever control the web instead of google ?

Google does not control internet, it provides with information.
There is always a chance, but it will require huge investments on promotion and a clear idea how your search will be unique and useful for people.

Even the mighty can fall...

The corporate world is chalk full of examples of powerful companies that overextended, (into areas where they lacked expertise), with disastrous results. Google faces a difficult balancing act of trying to expand, (and increase profit), while minimizing risk. Sometimes, all it takes is one wrong move and the whole house of cards can come crashing down.

I pray God don't let that happen !!! Even with Yahoo, they won't beat Google.
I don't get it, what are Microsoft's wining about ? - "oh, poor us, we lost internet initiative, let's buy all and everyone and be Gods again".

Yeah, that's true.
Google is far better than Yahoo! and Microsoft combined, and anyway, its got more market share than the other two combined.
I read that in a newspaper here someday.
I don't remember the exact statistic, though.

You're right, they could have done the new IE7 properly once in lifetime, but no, they had to make it half-IE6-half-IE7 again. My friend told me the story how IE7 was developed...they hired a bunch of fresh programmers and gave them the source of IE6, meanwhile old group that was working on IE6 made some patches that also had to be in IE7, so on the day of release, everything messed up and what they got is some kind of monster browser with some bugs fixed and new added. I might be wrong with details, but that's the overview.
