Can anyone pls advise on ROR sitemap?

hi everyone!!
i created a sitemap in php for users, which i came to know is not supported by google, yahoo and msn. so, i then, created .xml sitemap for google. then i came to know that for yahoo, there is a need of .txt file. huh!!! three sitemaps for a site? its not long process but looks odd!! a site with three sitemaps? ROR sitemap promises to do the work for all SEs. And it said it is an online sitemap generator? Anyone? Any idea of how it works? And sitemap generates ROR file as ror.xml. So, should i keep it as it is or change it to sitemap.xml?

alex-party is an unknown quantity at this point
Yahoo used to have text file format for sitemaps, but all 3 agreed to use common xml sitemap structure, just wait a little before they implement this new feature. Don't want to wait? Then yes, you have to work on what they ask you .

Hi Tenzin,
What you know is right i.e ROR (Resources of Resource)Sitemaps works for all SE's BUT to make your ROR Sitemap readable by all SE's, choose the "ror/rss" format. The SE's automatically reads ROR Sitemaps if it is built following ror/ros formats. Thanks
