Arrow SEO Secrets "-" or "_" or "+", we looking for 7yrs

Hey Developers ! So what it the best way to build website , what the best structure of url's we need to use ?

our company doing ecommerce websites for 7 years, some of our clients making millions online , some of them has 100000 pages, and we still looking for the answers

---- What BETTER for google ?

1) yoursite.com/category-name/nice-product-name.html
2) yoursite.com/category+name/nice+product+name.html
3) yoursite.com/category_name/nice_product_name.html
one of our clients ask as to to do :
4) yoursite.com/category_name_nice_product_name.html (crazy ha, but he is number 1 for his key term)

---- url structure ?

we was always wondering is this good for google to provide large url's , sometimes developers using product ID's sometime product name, but only few of them using DESCRIPTIONS in urls (yes wow!)

1) sitename.com/id2223423.html
2) sitename.com/nice+name+products.html
3) sitename.com/here+we+use+description+of+the+product+and+this+is +huge+name.html

so tell us professionals, is this really matters? if yes QUESTION for google what the maximum quantity of symbols we can use in url

THANKS, THANKS, THANKS

Good question,

I haven't noticed any difference between "+" and "-" in url, but I always try to use "-" for separating words and don't suggest using "_".

Regards,

The "-" is the sign that google most recognize.

ok biggest question!

site.com/product-name.hml small , just a name only few keywords here

OR

site.com/all-product-description-and-review-goes-here.html LARGE, MANY keywords are here!

so DOES google care about words in url - is this good to use large descriopiton in url, and if this will be good for google search ?

thanks

Usually if you don't have an answer to something, it only takes 1 minute to find out. I searched for eBay product on google to find how google displays urls in search results and the first match showed me:
Code:
eBay.ie: Microphone For SPORT-CAM Helmet Cameras Mic (item ...
cgi.ebay.ie/Microphone-For-SPORT-CAM-Helmet-Cameras-Mic_W0QQitemZ180150991499QQihZ008QQcategoryZ23780QQcm ...
THE LONG URL was cut off at 105 characters. So here goes your answer, whatever long your url, Google will show only first 105 chars.

I think now, Google has considered underscores as spaces as I have read the blog.

I would choose #1 for URL structure. I have read that Google has considered underscores as spaces
