Google's IMAGE SEARCH

good morning guys

,
I'm an amateur webmaster; I'm taking care of a touristic italian website called Liguria Nautica .com - portale sulla nautica da diporto e il turismo in Liguria, where you can find information on the region of LIGURIA.

after a few month I discovered that the 70% of my traffic was coming from images: people looking in the google image search engine the name of a particular village of city.

so I've made a few pictures gallery (example), to get even more traffic.

but now, since a couple of weeks, almost all my images are disappeared from google images! the strange thing is that all the pages are in the normal google search, but it's just like it douesn't see the images!

does anyone have a clue of what this could be? I'm very deperate, 'cause I was on the way of selling my first advertising space, but now visit have dropped of more then 50%!

what can I do?

Images are crawlable if it is with text.

update your site! put some alt tags on the images and make sure the file name of your images describes what it is...

but I did put ALL the tags (alt and title) in all the images! the thing is, before the images were listed! it all changed all of a sudden!

guys, you are not following: there is text with the images, there are links to and from my website.

UNTIL FEW WEEKS AGO ALL MY IMAGES WERE LISTED IN THE IMAGE ENGINE.
