I don't understand: why?

I think my portal isn't best in the world, but i don't understand "the why" it isn't in the first place in google.

Inside there are many information for ucraina but with this word in google i haven't the first position.

Where I mistake?

That's a one word search, very competitive. A better question is, why would the site be first?

You have not made any mistake. It's impossible to predict what Google will think of a site.

For example, your site is first if you search for "Portale dell'Ucraina il primo in lingua".
