Can I google using SSL ?
Hi,
Is it possible to use the Google search engine, with SSL (encryption) ? I've just started a second job helping out on an R&D startup, doing most research from home. I'd like to encrypt communication with google, so potential "evedroppers" can't know what terms I searching for (and what google returns). B/c you can learn a lot from what we search for. I'd hate to sound like those crazy phobic people... but we really have competition. Up untill now they only tried half-hearted phishing, and I don't think they have money or knowledge to set up evedropping... but it made me wonder. Can this be done? I tried https://google.com but it just redirects to "http". |
