I am new to this forum I have review question/Answear from FAQ, as well forum post, and this question may be a little stupid but I could't sleep at night and still bother my self why I am not going to asking this question to public forum sorry if this is inconvient question. People talk about submiting web site to Search Engine as well Directory, I know that Search engine " geting information" from Directory

Question:
How can I get a list of all Search Engine and all Directory that is available in United States? Do I have to pay for this list?

theres alot forums out there.. I'm not sure if you send your site to all of it.. there are free and paid directories... but i prefer free.. LOL..

there are also lot of Search Engine.. your site can be include on some SE result even if you don't submit you site...

search all of it and then submit your site... and I'm not sure if its possible ..every now and then theres a new directories that just popping around the www..

Not exactly, you should not focus too much on directories. Build a good web site with interesting and usefull contents and you will get natural traffic even if you don't submit to directories. Make sure people find your site interesing and you will see them bookmarking it in delicio.us and other social networks, therefore you get natural back links. I agree, that some presence in directories is necessary for a start, so if you search in google "free web directory", you will get plenty of them, but focus on your web site first and ask yourself why you do it and who will read it.

A very unique and fresh content will be the best thing that you can do, if you have a quality content others will ask a link on your site, If i wer'e you, I will focus on building quality links more.

You don't have to submit to search engines. They will find your site on their own once you get a few backlinks.

You do have to submit to each directory on your own. The 2 best directory lists I've found are Info Vilesilencer: The Original SEO Friendly Free Directory List and Directory Critic » Directory Lists, Article Directory Lists, Link Building, Directory Templates & Resources. try to focus on page optimization make sure that u have optimize your page and used key words that is appropriate to your site if your keywords and description fits to your site then you can submit it to free directories for link popularity you do not need to know every directories because if your looking for link popularity try to become active in forums and used the right anchor text as your signature but be careful because you might ending spamming the forums and you might get banned but if your looking for traffic try to submit your site to some social bookmarking sites and get a free traffic and back links also try to create blogs and submit it to some blog directories, this are the simple ways on how to get some free traffic and back links, there are still more ways on how to get back link and traffic this samples are just for beginners and sample site promotion.
