Purchasing links

I was contacted by a company called It's Cold Out Side. they are offering me 500 text links to be added to their websites over the next 12 weeks. All this for £100 ber month plus a set up fee.

These are supposed to be quality 1 way links and will help my ranking in Google.

Any thoughts on this one?

Yeah, I'd advise against it. Paid links are usually frowned on by Google. I don't know that anyone has any hard data proving that, but there's enough anecdotal information out there to make me think twice.

Also, that sounds way too cheap for that amount of links. I'd find out a little more about the quality of those links before even considering this deal.

Google advises against selling links for ranking purposes, but you can be safe by using the rel="nofollow" attribute.

Useless for Google but not in Yahoo and other Search engine.

For me Purchasing links is not reliable in Long Run SEO...

Because if you do not mentain to support your links is useless, They are going to delete you link immediately ...

Paid links with no-follow attribute? I guess its not going to be useful.. Only other SE's will going to crawl your links most particularly Yahoo.. How about the leading SE in the web? The "Google SE" will not going to see this links.. Better not to buy my friend..
