Contacting Google, page not indexed
I was approached by a client wishing his flash-only site would get indexed by search engines. I explained that the best thing to do would be pay me to do a text-only version of the site to complement the existing flash one, and i'd make it nice and keyword rich and search engine optimised. So he did.
The site went up about two months ago. Google still has not indexed it. Google won't answer my emails. Entering the address into google returns "Sorry, no information is available for the URL www.battours.com.au" Now here's the interesting bit: All the other search engines have indexed it and are ranking it highly. The query "backpacker adventure tours" brings this page up in the top 5 hits on yahoo, with "backpacker adventure tours uluru" coming in at number 1. Ask Jeeves, MSN, AltaVista all have it somewhere in there. Obviously there is some mistake here, for some reason google is ignoring this site. Perhaps it was banned for some reason, maybe an earlier incarnation of the site had keyword spam or something. How can i get Google to notice me? The first time i contacted them i got an auto-response, and when i replied to that i never heard from them again. Is there anyway to reach google? Has anyone had similar experiences where most search engines ranked a site highly and google didn't index it at all? Any suggestions? BTW looking at the statistics i can see that googlebot came to the site 11 times in March. |

You can try site that auto hits you site. Like www.clickThru.com. I think this site lets people surf the web for credit which you can use to buy advertisment. If you register you site, you site will be added in there database and they will bring hits to your site. That is one way to get up google search engine.
