Unhappy Google bot never visits my page

Hi,

on other pages I published, the google bot came across extremely often. For example on a site with a question form, the frequency was even twice a minute, because my web application generated a text based on wikipedia content and there was a lot to index.

A month ago I published another web application (AreThereNews.com - be informed about your favorite sites). The google bot never visits this site. Well, apparently it came across exactly once, because a google search still returns the default page of my provicer ("no content..."). About a week ago the registration page was added, which is of no use.

Why this different behaviour? Maybe because my new web application uses asp, my other used cgi? What can I do to tell the google bot that here is new content? A month is a long time, compared to visits every 30 seconds. And I would expect that when the google bot adds the registration page it should also add the default page, but no.

I even linked the page on my other web sites (3 weeks ago), with no effect. And no, I have no robots.txt.

Thanks for your answers,
Stefan

P.S. Maybe this is the wrong forum for this, but just to give the whole picture: I am an expercienced GoogleAdwords user and never had problems with it. But with this site, every keyword I try (I tried about 50!), will begin with €0,10 and arrives at €0,80 on the next day.

Do you have the pages index on your sitemap?
When was your last sitemap submission?

What is a sitemap submission? Google indexed my other pages without a sitemap submission. I just googled about "sitemap submission" and found a form of google itself where I can enter the URL. The result:

Indexing Home page crawl: Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Oct 15, 2007.
Index status: Pages from your site are included in Google's index. See Index stats. [?]

Now how can I give google a hint that they should index my main page again? It seems they won't do it automatically for some reason.

Is it a problem to have only 3 indexable pages? Will the google bot avoid sites with less then 4 indexable pages? What do you want to tell me?

Sitemap

You need to go to the Google Webmaster Tools website. Read carefully and follow the instructions for submitting a sitemap. A sitemap tells google how many and what pages you have and how often they change. You will need to sign up and have access to your server to verify you are the owner.

well theres nothing wrong with that... your pages are already indexed... it means that bots crawled your site... you can't really forced bots to crawl your site... continues link building can help..

I guess you need to be patient. Your new site must be in sandbox. Also it doesnt seems to have anything to index! The rate @ which google index you is directly proportional to the content, freshness and importance of the site. Keep working hard!

Well there's nothing to work on, as the software development is finished and generates the main page automatically every minute. There's lots of stuff to index. I'll try to submit a sitemap which informs google that the site continuously changes. Thanks to Sean for the advice.
