Sync Mac Apps with Google

Does anyone know of an easy and preferably free way to sync most of the Mac apps with the Google ones? For instance, sync GMail contacts with Mac Address Book and sync iCal with Google Calendar and so on.

Another thing that would be useful to me but is not quite so important is the ability to have Mail 'ping' Google Reader so that when I read articles in Mail RSS, it lets Google Reader know that I have read them so they will no longer show as 'Unread', and vice versa. This would come in handy when I am at school or when I don't have my laptop with me, so that I can just log on to Google Reader and know that all of my RSS feeds will be in sync and won't have to re-read some of them. I am aware of a little piece of software floating around called Reader Notifier, which pretty much does the job, just without the cool Mail desktop interface, that is why this question is not quite a priority.

When I say 'sync', I do mean both ways, so that when changes are made either on the Google App or the Mac App, it will sync it to the other one respectively.

The main thing I would like to resolve is my first question. I want to be able to travel knowing that all of my contacts, events, feeds, and e-mails are in sync and not have to worry about what I've left behind. Please could someone help me with this as I have tried numerous Googlings but with no luck.

I would also like to have something like this. I really like my Gmail account and how it integrates well with my Mac.

I would like to be able to have my RSS Feeds all in sync so I don't have to read them twice.
