My Homepage Has Been Dropped From Google?!! Any Ideas?

Hi Everyone.

I check my website listing in Google every morning and up until yesterday all was well. I was ranking fairly ok for my preferred search terms. I don't use any dubious techniques....its a real clean website.

Anyyway, I checked this morning and my Homepage was nowhere to be found in the searches!! I even tried searching for MyDomain.com – Buy Domains for $8.95 – Free Domain Name Management tools etc...but still nothing. All this produced were a few subb pages from my website. I am absolutely baffled as to why this could have happened. I did a search for duplicate text and found that a website in India has copied my homepage word for word! The worst thing is that THEY are still being indexed in google whilst I', not!

• Do you think this website is the reason my homepage has been dropped?
• Surely Google can tell that I've been around longer than these imposters?
• would google just ban one page? wouldn't they ban the whole website if they thought I was copying someone else's content?
• I've already sent a very strong email to this website asking them to remove the text. i've also contacted their host company. but even if they remove it....will Google re-list me or am I blacklisted now?
• If I do get relisted will I regain my good rankings?
• And lastly.....is it at all possible that this is absolutely noting to do with duplicate content but just a glitch in their system and will soom fix itself?
