can any one tell me how to get rid of the url history that appears when you click the arrow to the right of the url box. it is too long. thank you.

clear search history... for ff CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE and then clear

Menu bar >tools>option >settings>clear private data >check to browsing history click OK.
