Acessing Google

Good morning. Forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place...

In the last week I've started having problems accessing google. Mostly from my windows machine but I have had some issues with my macbook. All other sites are fine if I type the address right into the address bar. I use iGoogle as my home page and have had no issues since starting...until now. I was even on the phone with my IP to address this. I've reset my modem (a Motorola Surfboard) and it hasn't corrected it.

Thoughts?

That's correct...it's intermittent but it only happens with Google.

The browser times out as if Google doesn't exist. I spent some time with Charter support and they had heard from at least one other customer. Still no resolution. When I run a trace I start getting time outs at about hop 10...whatever that means.

Have you tried contacting google about this? I suggest you call their customer service / technical support. Maybe they can walk you through on how to solve this issue.

i dont think google can in any way be responsible for the issue. need to get your system checked. could be anything from a virus/worm to network issues.
