Search - possible to make a term a default?

I've been using the Google Toolbar (for Firefox) for a while, and can't live without it!
I haven't seen this feature noted anywhere, but think it's either a secret(!) or a useful tool Google should add...
I often search for music cover art, but a good half of the results are Torrent sites, which neither have artwork, nor are of interest to me, as I've already got the album!

Is there a way to include a search term in all searches by default?
i.e. I'd like "-torrent" to be a default in all my searches...

If this is not available currently (except manually each time I search), then here are some suggestions:
- a drop-down (add-on or extension) to the Toolbar allowing such a search item default
- a reminder (or flag) that a search default exists (in case I forget about it and then find myself searching for torrents without any results!)
- a list of terms in that drop-down (maybe auto-sorted) - so some may be added, or removed, whenever the mood strikes
- suggestions on similar terms to IN-, or EX-clude - i.e. "-torrent" could bring up suggestions like "peer-to-peer" or "FTP" or others... this suggestion box could be turned on or off, in case I know exactly what I want to search for

Any thoughts? ...or pointers to where this might be available?
I know I could probably find some shareware which could create a macro to do so - Firefox has add-ons which I believe can automate repetitive tasks (like visit a site, and enter info into certain boxes - this WOULD do what I want, but I'd have to modify the macro every time my search needs change, so a built-in feature would be great!)
