Erasing Old Searches
I'm not experienced with computers and am wondering if there is a way to erase old searches from google. I wouldn't mind having the suggested searches removed also. I find them distracting. Thanks.

That can be easily solved. Just go to the privacy settings of your web browser and don't let it remember your search and browsing history.
For example, if you're using Firefox: Tools > Options > Privacy then uncheck the first three options there that has the word "Remember..." in them. |

But if he does that instead, he would be doing that every time he finishes using FireFox. Unchecking the three "Remember..." options on the privacy tab would ultimately make FireFox "forget" all his browsing data.
