Other Search Engines

Has anyone found a method to get Google search engine to ignore specific sites.

When I have requested a specific item and a location that’s what Google gives me. However frequently 80% of the listings are other search engines that give me locations around the country and businesses that that do that sort of work. e.g. when I’m looking for BRICKS that is what I’m looking for, the other search engines give me brick layers 500-2000 miles away.

Adding a minus with each of the other search engines listed is difficult and due to the number I run out of space.

The ideal would be a Google editable add-in that I could list ALL web sites I want to ignore. The same could be used to ignore those annoying businesses that say -
‘We don’t have BRICKS but you may be interested in our colour TVs, computers, PDA’s etc.’

Anyone any ideas or have seen a product that does this.

Google should really have this as an option. They have a fantastic search engine that is really being hijacked by the other search engines.

Thanks for your interest
Brian
