Google Desktop bad for Outlook attachments
For months I've been unable to open attachments to forwarded e-mail using Outlook. Uninstalled Google DeskTop: problem solved!!

Does Google know about this and is there a fix?

No problem with that.. Why not try to reinstall it? just my thought..
