Google and his results
Hello there, i'm new here and i found this forum with Google of course.
Since i only use google i'm interested to make you see this. I'e just searched for a plant name: "Neoporteria neohankeanna". Well i know for sure that it would exist since i posted a image of this plant on a forum but seems like google can't see it I tried to see if Yahoo! could see it and it works. I have tried also with other words from this forum and google, instead of Yahoo!, doesn't show them. I ask you, why it happens? Maybe google avoids to check this words because of spams? It's strange cause something the Google Bot visits this forum (almost all days) Dany |

It looks like all you have done is post an image in a forum topic that is hosted on one server and embedded an image that is hosted by another site on another server. How is Google supposed to make the connection between words in a forum post on one site with an image hosted on another? It is also possible for a forum owner to limit or prevent Google from indexing a forum. It doesn't seem like that is happening here, but it is very possible and very easy to keep Google, Yahoo or any other search engine from indexing your site. Aside from all of that, if words are spelled incorrectly then results in a search engine will be disappointing. I'll admit that you got my interest up with this question so I looked in to this a bit. You aren't seeing results for neoporteria neohankeanna because that species actually does not exist. However, according to cactiguide.com the neoporteria neohankeana is a cacti variety with a very pretty pink, red or yellow flower on top from South America. Here are some steps to ensure that your images end up in the Google or Yahoo image index:

Hey DanyD what language is on that forum? I just wondering if local (country) google page (ex. google.es - google Spain) will show your result but I've just noticed that particular page is not yet indexed by google. If you could provided strong back link towards that page, it might help index that page and be included in search result in google.
