Problems finding one of my sites when using Google search

Hallo. The two last months I have been programming a little bit in some internet sites I have. I have send in a sitemap, I have verified it and googlebot visited my page may 3. Now the pages are idexed in google, and i can find them for instance by writing, in the google search :

"site : www.fjordsandmountains.com"

but why can't I find them when writing just

In other words - when using "site:www. .... " in the google scearch you find my site, but when using only :"www. .... " in google search the site is not found.

What is wrong ?

Well, easy, the first query you made made it strict for the SE that what you are searching for is a site, the second query you made is a keyword. You should try searching for your website using the keywords you have assigned to your web page.

Like jaabo said, the second one was considered a keyword while the first one was a search engine command. Google didn't see yet your whole site but it was included in their index.
