Google's Personalized Page: Weather images misleading

I don't know what powers the "weather" that is shown on Google's customized page (google.com/ig), but it's misleading. Not the temperature so much, but the precipitation forecast.

It seems like the images are misleading too. The image for "Chance of Storms" makes it look like there is going to be heavy rain all day long.

Chance of storms:

Chance of showers:

I simply think the word "Chance" should show a bit of sun in there. Am I being anal? I feel the images are not clear.

Take care,
dep

I think we need to give Google a chance, the personalized portal was only recently released. Forecasts may not always be accurate. BBC news predicted heavy rainfall in Toronto some time ago, however the climatic forecast ended up not assuming realistic sentience. Nobody is perfect and Google is just a rookie compared to other companies which deliver nigh-flawless weather statistics. Although, if you say that Google has been recently slipping, and making too many administrative mistakes, I will agree.

Yes. Well, I mean the temperature and the forecasted "chance of storms" seems accurate enough. The problem, mainly, is that the images don't match the forecast... But, yeah, it is true, as Google continues its epic growth, their probability to make mistakes will grow as well.
