tags...the works, but no improvement

I have a website where I host my home made videos (www.buttlesschaps.com) that I started about 2 months ago. The website has had a PR 3 since a little over a month ago, which was because I had a link from a PR 5 website. Now, I still have that link, and have other several links from PR 5, and PR 6 websites, but my PR is still at 3. I also labeled my headings with <h1> tags since I heard that also helps with Google results but still no improvement. Even though my website's traffic has increased, more links, and more pages I have the same PR and have even been moved down in the Google Results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be happy if I was you.
I will always prefer to see my traffic increase and my PR remaining the same than the opposite, less traffic but a higher PR.

Hey buttlesschaps (lol), i like your website, you wrote that all from scratch i take it? Sorry if this doesn't help you with your problem, but how did u get those vids onto your website? I've been trying to include my videos onto my website for a while now, but can't figure it out! (I like your videos btw, very funny =p)

oh yeah that's probably not a good idea haha, and to elnube, thanks for the feedback and all you have to do to have videos on your site like that is to upload the WMV onto your server and then link to it. That will open the external video player on their computer and play the video. Although I'm thinking about changing video formats and displaying them in Flash, since there are more people that have Flash than Windows Media Player.

Thanks! I will try that sometime. I don't yet have a server, it's more of a small project at the moment! Although I will be trying to get one soon! If you have any tips regarding getting my website online I would be grateful =D

How many links are on the pages that have the high PR value. It might be that those pages are just diluted and you need more links to step up to the next level.

elnube- i use PowWeb (www.powweb.com) as my host, they give you 300 GB/Month of bandwith, 5 GB of storage, and a great online chat support for about 8 bucks a month. so i recommend powweb, also follow this guide http://www.searchengineworld.com/misc/guide.htm while building your web site, it's been working for me so far, about 2,500 downloads of my videos in less than 2 months. good luck!

Edit: I had a look around, and found http://www.f2g.net/ - are these hosting packages worth it? I don't want to rush into anything and realise that it's not worth it, or I'm being overpriced or something..

well lets see, at F2G.NET u're getting:

2.5 GB disk space, 40 GB monthly transfer, 1 MYSQL database, and 100 email accounts for 6.95 a month.

at powweb u're getting:

5 GB disk space, 300 GB monthly transfer, 5 MYSQL databases, and 600 e-mail accounts for 7.77 a month.

So i would spend the extra dollar and get a much better host if i were you, but keep researching, if you find one better than powweb, make sure you tell me about it too.
