website misclassified as porn

Hi,

I'm trying to contact Google to let them know that a particular website has been misclassified as pornography. I've combed through all of Google's "contact us" links, and none of them seem appropriate for my purposes. Can anyone give me the right link so I can correct this?

How are you sure that your sites been classified as an "adult" site?

Its much easier to contact google through adwords.
Try that.

That's a good question, and I'm not exactly sure. I can tell you that the link next to the first line (with the title of the site) says "pornography." Is that different from a classification of "adult?"

To be clear, it's not actually my site. I've worked with this group over the years, and so I know their mission and their style very well. I suspect someone had petitioned Google to classify the site this way out of a disagreement with their agenda. There is nothing "adult" on there, unless you count the complexity of the legal process.

Hello,

That's weird i see nothing indicating that this site is classified as pornographical or adult. The only thing remotely close is some links from some gay and lesbian rights articles.

Please send me a screen shot or link to where you came to the conclusion this site was registered as pornographical.

Hello,

At the upper right hand of your keyboard there should be a set of three buttons.
"PRT SCR" (print screen)
"Scroll Lock"
"Pause Break"

When the image of what you would like to capture is on your computer screen, hit the "print screen" button. Then open up a word document, photoshop, paint, etc and press "control V" or paste.

Save the image, upload it to photobucket or flikr. and send me a link.

I'm getting frustrated here; maybe you can offer me some advice. I've uploaded dozens of images to photobucket but this isn't working. I've saved the screenshot under My Pictures and My Documents several times. When I go to upload it, I can't find it anywhere. I've combed through every file in my Picture function and every file in My Documents. For uploading purposes it simply doesn't exist.

Is there a special way to save a screenshot so I can upload it? I don't understand. Or would you PM me with an email so I can send it to you as an attachment?

What file type is it saved as? You should save it as a jpeg or gif.

When you go to upload the image to photo bucket. When the little window opens for you to pick the image from your computer, under the file name field there is a file type field. Click show all. Perhaps that will work.

Where do you go to get this error? is it directly from google? what are you typing in the search bar to receive this message?
