Yes, it does look like Googles format, but do you really expect everything on the net to be original?

Yeah but you gotta admitt it was preatty stupid of Yahoo to copy the Google search page (Yahoo are dumb!).

its stupid to copy google because google is use and quick but is very plain so why copy it?

Because the simplier the design you have the better the design you have. Anything that's flashy on a page can and may drive someone away from your web site. Take a web designing class and you'll find out why.

i dunno.. i tried lot of search engines but my favourite remain google.. GOOGLE IS THE INET-KING

to me it looks like a proven winning formula. keeping it simple and clean is what the public likes. everyone and their mother uses this format. ask jeeves, altavista (not that i use them), etc....

It really is stupid of Yahoo! to try and copy Google's page format. It just looks a plain carbon copy, with only a few changes (like the Yahoo! image). I really didn't expect Yahoo! to do such a thing. I didn't know that they could go to such lows. Yahoo! is umm... er... the worst, and Google, oh... it is the best!
