Will it boost or reduce my PR

I have some pages, which are mainly images with just a header and no content, and I have a PR 3 on them.

If I disallow Google indexing those few pages, would that increase my PR on my homepage or other content-rich pages of my site at his next update?

what do you meant by disable google to index xyz pages ?

I meant that I disallowed the googlebot to index those files in my robots.txt.

Would depend on what the page rank is on the main page.
